Negative-G Trip 2009

Kevin met up with some guys from the Negative-G forums for a pilgrimidge to the Coney Island Cyclone. Along the way, they went to Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey, Coney Island in New York, Lake Compounce in Connecticut, Six Flags New England in Massachusetts, and Great Escape in New York. Kevin picked up 30 new coasters and had a fabulous time. Can't wait for next year's trip!

CoasterCon XXXII

CoasterCon XXXII was a huge success. We went to Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO, Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, KS, Schlitterbahn Vacation Village in Kansas City, KS (not open yet though), and Six Flags St. Louis in Eureka, MO. We also took a ride in a Duck in Branson and went up in the Arch in St. Louis.

Yet another awesome CoasterCon! It was fun hanging out with our ACE friends. Daniel and Paul from Canada even have their own secret greeting now. (If you've been on Adventure Express at Kings Island, you can guess what it is)

Michigan's Adventure 2009

We finally made our first trip to Michigan's Adventure in Muskegon, MI. Allie, Beth, and Kevin rode Shivering Timbers. Daniel fell in love with Zach's Zoomer and the log ride. It was a perfect sunny Spring day. Our good friend Brian from Indianapolis came up to have fun with us too. We all had a blast!

Diamondback Opening

Yesterday was finally time the to ride Diamondback! Opening day 2009 at Kings Island was amazing. Kevin was rider #134 for the season thanks to the Diamondback Auction and a very cool boss. He ended up riding 3 times throughout the day and even got a night ride with fireworks. Beth rode Diamondback just one time but had a blast. The ride is fantastic. We need to spend some more quality time on it.

The kids got to take our friend Brian on his 450th coaster. Congratulations to Brian on this milestone.

The 2009 coaster season is here! Our first trip was to Six Flags St. Louis in late March. The park closed on Saturday at Noon but Sunday was a beautiful (but chilly) day. We woke up to about an inch of snow on the ground. After everything dried out, we had a blast.
